Did you know about this awful event that happened in London?

Today we are so careful about sewerage systems…..but it was not like this long ago.

Untreated human waste were dumped into Thames river and a time came when central London faced the situation of being exposed to harmful stink and people were terrified of the possible health effects!

So…they took immediate action and made provisions to drain out the contaminated water from the river.

Since then……the system of keeping the river clean became mandatory!

This is why you will see the beautiful and clean Thames flowing through the city now!
